Hi, I'm trying to install Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit onto two fresh and empty drives which are setup as a hardware RAID1 in the BIOS on an Asus P6T Deluxe motherboard. Formatting fails saying something like "ext4 file system creation failed". There are other drives and Ubuntu installations that should not be touched.
Does anyone know how to install a completely fresh copy of Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit on a drive in RAID1 mode?
