Upgrade has killed php in apache

just offering the php files for download now...
Tried reinstalling apache/php etc but no luck
any clues?

Try installing the package php5, worked for me

tried that - no change.

Its something else - if I remake the Netbeans projects the php runs.
But php files in non-project directories (with no .htaccess files) dont run....
