Hi, Im a beginner in kubuntu 9.10, and I have questions about te updating system
first, I tried to upgrade gimp to have the lastest version and possibly the single windows version.

gimp -version
GNU Image Manipulation Program version 2.6.7

I basically did
sudo apt-get install gimp
and it says it is already installed but it ends like that:

0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 58 not upgraded.

how do I upgrade these 58 upgrades ? one of them is gimp ?
I tried sudo apt-get update but the problem remain the same.

thanks

Hey, jum1,

Apparently GIMP is up-to-date. To upgrade the other 58 packages you can run 'sudo apt-get upgrade'.
