Hi guys;
I've got Lucid Lynx 10.04 x86 (32 bit) installed. Is there a way to upgrade for the 64 bit version, without re-installing I mean?
It should not be so hard, if we could boot from an install cd and upgrade by substituting all necessary files.
Kind regards.

Um er, it's like upgrading from a 32-lane highway to a 64-lane highway. Sometimes you have to demolish some houses along the way.

... in other words you might find it easier to backup your data files, do a fresh install, and then restore your data.
