Dual boot win XP and ubuntu 10

Hi,
I installed new ubuntu. Everything was working until yesterday. This morning when I turned my laptop on I got this error messages:
No module name found. Aborted. Press any key to exit.
and
Non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready.
I tried to fix it with windows cd but it says: No hard disk drives.
Please help I am linux beginner. Thanks

Windows will not see linux partitions and may not see damaged windows partitions. Check that BIOS sees drives and that you do not have a hard drive problem. Run this script from liveCD so we can see what is where:
