Compile kernel fastly in less time

Hi ,

I am working on lan driver. I have to do kernel compile frequently after changing code in kenel. It takes about 2-3 hours on my desktop.(P4 processor,1GB RAM,80GB HDD).

Is there any was to compile the kernel source fastly?
