While the upgrade was flawless I run into an annoying issue today. It happens that the today's boot was the 30th and a disk check was performed. It seemed to work as usual pace but slowed down drastically at about 70%. The disk check on my machine takes usually about 10 minutes, but took more than 2 hours today.

I have the same issue on a new install of 10.04 UNR on my netbook. The first time I booted the netbook with the power cord plugged in it started the disk check, and slowed dramatically at 70 percent.

Also, after it reaches 70 percent there doesn't appear to be any actual disk access during the check. The drive activity LED is not lighting up.

This is the only operating system on my Eee PC 1000HE

A fix is in the works.
