Hello everyone,
I have two hard drives installed, one for Lucid-64(sda) and the other one for Win7(sdb). Everything was working flawless with 9.10 and GRUB2.
I did a fresh Lucid installation and I used the same 40_custom file that I used to have on 9.10 w/ GRUB2, I ran update-grub and it was able to "see" the WIN7 installation, in other words, update-grub ran without errors.
Problem is: When I boot my PC, I see the GRUB2 menu and I select my Win7 installation. I can see the windows logo and the system loading, but suddenly, it freezes on me and I need to do a hard-reset to have the system back.
Is anyone experiencing something similar to this?
P.S: I know the HD are fine. If I unplug the SATA cable for the Ubuntu hard drive (sda), it loads WIN7 perfectly.
Thanks in advance for shedding some light into this issue.
Warm Regards,
AK
