HI all,
I am having the same issue as others have talked about. Not a thing booting the CD, just a blank screen. I have been messing with linux for a number of years now and this is one of the first real problems i have not been able to figure out. I am using a ACER ASPIRE also. 5630. but I have a Intel graphics card, not an ATI. I have checked my images when downloading them and the SHA, Hash, are correct and I have been buring disc for years sooo. I can boot the last version of Ubuntu and MInt as well from disc. I have tried both 32 and 64 bit images. I have a dual boot system and the bios is up to date and the boot order is set correctly as well. Does anyone have any answers as of yet to the problem. Open for discussion.....:confused:
