Screen resolution when logged in.

I can not figure out why my screen resolution changed to 1024x768 from 1856x1392 when I log into gnome.

My resolution when I am at the login screen is 1856x1392. The other user on my computer resolution stays at 1856x1392 when she logs in.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

BTW....
I deleted everything on my computer except for the home directory and installed Lucid. I have an nVidia Geforce 8400GS with driver version 195.36.24.

For some odd reason I had to use the Gnome Display Manager and just click apply. I don't know what it changed but the resolution isn't changing when I login.
