Dear gang,
I know there are many others who have this issue, but I wanted to post the model of my video card to see if anyone else has found a good fix. I run a Dell Inspiron 6400, dual core, 2 gig of ram with a Nvidia Ge Force GO 7300 128 meg card. Ubuntu 9.10 runs great.
I am getting the typical dead screen with goofy garbage on the screen using the live cd 64 bit released version of 10.04.
All i ever see is the little keyboard and human logo at the bottom before the dead screen. I have not tried any fixes yet since i wanted to establish that both ATI and Nvidia are affected.
Lets hope this issue gets resolved. I could never get the beta versions to run either. I'm in a 9.10 holding pattern.
