Hi!
I am quite the newbie when it comes to linux in general, but I've found I like it better and better the more I use it.
So, I installed xubuntu karmic on my HP laptop earlier this year. Now I'm keen on moving to "ordinary" ubuntu, and to 10.04. Is there a way to do this through, say, Synaptic or something similar, or should I just format the whole thing, and install it on a fresh and empty hard drive?
Because if there is some easy, non-buggy way to do it without reinstalling, I would prefer that. If, however, upgrading is very hard and painful, I'll just grab a 10.04 ISO and start anew.
