When is the 10.04 upgrade going to show on my update manager? I have been running the update manager since yesterday and the 10.04 upgrade hasn't shown up yet. It is still showing an upgrade to 8.10. I have been waiting to upgrade while exploring and using the 8.04 LTS Hardy. Now that it has been released it isn't showing on the update manager. Anyone else having this happen?

I think you need to go in order. First 9 then 10.

Anyhow, what you need to do is press ALT+F2, type in:

update-manager -d

Go to System > Administration > Software Sources and click on the updates tab. Toward the bottom change the Release updates option to Long term support releases only. Then when you click on Reload it should be available.

LTS will directly upgrade to LTS :)

Thanks Guys, I think I got it now but this is weird. When I go to: system/administration/update manager the only thing I get for upgade is to 8.10. When I used your method ALT-F2 the typed upgrade-manager -d It will go to 10.04 VERY WEIRD. Anyway I will try it tomorrow morning early when I have enough bandwidth (satellite internet). So I guess you can close this for now I will let you know how it goes.
