Upgrade from 9.04 to 10.04?

Hello!

I am still using 9.04, because everything worked fine I didn't bother to upgrade to 9.04. Now however I feel it is time for something new. My question is if it is possible to upgrade (no fresh install) from 9.04 directly to 10.04, and if yes, is it advisable?

No not possible. you have to upgrade to 9.10 first, then to 10.04.
Is it advisable? Meh, id opt for a fresh install, and install it side by side with 9.04 until you are satisfied 10.04 works for you. If thats not an option at the very least test 10.04 in a live session before upgrading, because you cant downgrade.
