So I've just upgraded Koala to Lynx and suddenly Gnome Mplayer lags when playing HD-video. Previously it's worked perfectly.

I have a Atom processor with Nvidia Ion, so hardware acceleration is needed. VDPAU is still selected, but now it lags. Does anyone know how to solve this?

I am having exact same issue. Tried upgrading the nvidea drivers and upgrading the SVN version of XBMC but no luck. I'm thinking my only option is to go back to 9.10

Does anybody have anythng on this?

I decided to install 9.10 as a dual boots. Everything is at least functioning there. Booting into 10.04 now gives me all kinds of video errors and I am forced to start in low graphics mode.

Can any ION who has working HD in 10.04 Lucid let me know which drivers you are using to achieve this? I am using the beta 195 nvidia drivers now, but have tried to 190 drivers now to equally disappointing results

Right, I followed Ubuntugeeks instructions here:

Everything is working fine for me now.
