Are there any DSL problems with lucid?

Karmic's network manager had problems connecting to dsl connections when it was first released and it was a pain in the foot to fix them because you can't do anything without an internet connection. So, I'm wondering if lucid has any network manager bugs.

I created a DSL connection. Sometimes it connects and sometimes not. It drives me crazy!

my DSL is working perfectly with Lucid and karmic.
my graphics card is the only issue i have with Lucid. gahh lol

Big problem for me. It appears that, ubuntu doesn't recognise huawai modems initially, which will be fixed through updates much later. Atleast I faced this with karmic which got fixed later, hope the same happens with Lucid. Its a pain for me to run it with alternate modems because, huawai is what I've got.
