Since I updated yesterday tke kernel of my karmic koala to 2.6.31-21, pidgin (2.6.2 release) which started on boot ( as liferea or evolution or tomboy notes) doesn't start automatically, and I have to start it manually.

In system, preferences, apps at the begining, options, I thicked remember apps running now, with pidgin running, but it doesn't run at boot.

How can I run pidgin on boot?

Thanks in advance

Well, I found the answer myself. It is very easy.

All I have to do is to add the running of /usr/bin/pidgin & in system-->Preferences--> Apps at the begining and add the above line to run pidgin on boot.

What I don't understand is why I lost the running of pidgin on boot when I updated to kernel 2.6.31-21.
