I tried to install 9.10 a while back, and whenever I tried to partition my drive, it would give me a message saying something like this:
An error occurred. The changes could not be written to the storage devices. Operation has been aborted.
I tried to make a bootable USB stick, and my computer couldn't boot off of it. I then downloaded the 10.04 .iso and it boots up and everything works, but when I go to install it I get the same error. Is there a problem with my hard drive that won't allow me to install this, or is there something I am not doing right?
