Hello!

I recently installed ubuntu 9.10 karmac koala (i think that's how it's spelt) and I decided to install it into windows, due to the fact my BIOS cannot boot from a CD or USB the install was fine worked really well and was done within 5 minutes I go to reboot into ubuntu and the startup logo appears and flashes but after that it goes to a blank screen, if i move my mouse around the middle of the screen, I can see that there are text boxes where the mouse icon changes

i will list my hardware to see if there are any compatibility issues:

Intel celeron CPU (single core 3.06GHZ)
2 GB of DDR PC 2700 RAM 333 Mhz
dedicated graphics card which is an ATI Sapphhire HD 2600 XT
i think my motherboard is an MSI 101 ( i don't have any of the manuals im just going by windows Direct X diagnostics)
Also im currently dual screening with 2 Different sized monitors.
screen 1 ( Main screen running at 1600X900 reccomended)
screen 2 (secondary screen running at 1280X1024)

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Ben
