How much difference is there between the Release Candidate and the final release? if I install the RC now, will it just be a simple update to the final or will it be like doing a full upgrade?

Previous experience indicates that it's just a simple " sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade "
There shouldn't be that many changes between RC and Final.
(I kinda hope I'm right due to a particular 64-bit 10.04 RC server I'm half way through ;) )

From @jonobacon on the Twitter a little while ago:

Before the madness begins tomorrow, you folks may want to upgrade to the 10.04 RC now and then upgrade later. Little will change.

Sounds good to me.

Hi
Sound advice :) Applying updates to the RC brings you to the ful release. (Always backup your /home for the future :)
Keep on Ubuntuing and good to see you helping others! john
