Hi,
I have just upgraded from Jaunty to Karmic using Update Manager. The entire update went fine, but since the upgrade Restart & Shutdown are not working from GUI.
When I click either of Restart or Shutdown, I get the 60 secs dialog. When I click to do the action now, system is getting logged off instead of rebooting or shutting down. Please note that the same actions are working fine when given from command prompt (terminal). But its not working from GUI.
Anybody can please tell me why is it happening? Is the upgrade passed or ailed.
