View Full Version : [other] Native Kernel Support for Laptop Wireless

I'm looking to buy an inexpensive laptop that is well-supported by the linux kernel. I'm especially concerned about the wireless card, since it's such a pain to get wireless working otherwise. I'm mostly looking at used/refurbished machines. I prefer to go for Toshibas or IBM/Lenova. Are those brands well-supported by the kernel?

Intel wireless is very well supported.
