I've seen this site before but I guess I never looked around. My theory is that the owner has a schizophrenic son 'Sean' who is into web design and wanted to help out by making a website. This is probably the guy who made the website: http://yvettesbridalformal.com/aboutYvettesPortraitPainter1.html

I agree this is a weird and slightly creepy site. It reminds me of the peter pan guy ( http://www.pixyland.org/peterpan/index.html ) sort of. I like how "scattered" both sites feel...it's fun to try to sift your way through them.

It looks like every web page from 1998 mixed together.

Reminds me a lot of the original AOL home pages of years ago with banner ad after banner ad .. and you had to "next page" several times before the actual browser would open!
But, even as trashy as they were .. there was SOME order to what they did!
This crud is "throw it up on the wall and see what sticks" design.

For some reason Rhythmbox started making classic horror film sounds as soon as I opened that website.

Oooh, now I see the website itself has music in the background. It (with the odd crackles and gaps thanks to my slow connection) and my actual music just happened to mesh together to form an incredibly scary mix. It was REALLY terrifying.
