uninstall

hi people.
I have MS VISTA on a repair type disk not a windows disk. I install ubuntu 10 and it has completely trashd my windows system. i want to uninstall it. tried going the hard disk rout during install but it ont let me dump the main linux partion and the windows disk is a manufactures one so is built for this particular pc and wont reset the partions.
help please

You managed that all by yourself, how can you blame some bits and bytes which are completely harmless ? ;)

Do you still have your windows partition ?

If so, download a Vista recovery CD and reset the boot loader, (there are several available, eg EasyBCD) then delete the Ubuntu partitions.
