Upgrade or Fresh install, opinions wanted

Hello Friends,
With 10.04 around the corner I've been thinking. Should I do a fresh install as I did with 9.10. Or, will an upgrade suffice?
I remember, with 9.10, I did the fresh install to take advantage of ext4. Is there many new features that would demand a fresh install with lynx?
Is fresh install always the best option?
Is the sky blue?

If you have separate home partition you can do upgrade with alternate CD,because if something goes wrong you always have CD to do fresh install.
