Installation stops. The last few lines read as follows: Kernal Panic: Atempted to kill the idle task In idle Task - Not Syncing. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

In my experience, kernel panic is pretty bad. I used to get an occasional kernel panic when I was using an oversized drive in an old laptop -- one that was too big for the BIOS. But that's not the only possible cause.

Try rebooting, I guess, or starting the installation over? I'm sure others will have some suggestions.
