I had previously successfully installed a dual boot winxp and ubuntu 9.10 on two separate disks. Now I decided to change to
larger disks. I copied windows to the first disk (master) and after partitioning clean install ubuntu 9.10 to the second disk (slave). To my surprise GRUB refused to work: Grub loading, Error: no such disk, grub rescue> and then I have no clue!
ls shows (hd0), (hd0,1), (fd0) only but I am sure the second disk is there, I just installed Ubuntu there. I have already run check disk to both via pmagic and tried to boot with super grub but no ubuntu, only windows.
I really appreciate any help!
