View Full Version : Anybody know where I can get the old animated Netscape icons?

Hi, I'm looking for the old Netscape icons from about 1994 to 1996. Still image versions are nice but the animated versions are nicer still. In particular the icon in the upper right corner of the window that had the shooting star when loading a page.

I remember just always reloading pages to see the shooting star, :lolflag:

On the left is a star map (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pioneer_plaque#Relative_position_of_the_Sun_to_the _center_of_the_Galaxy_and_14_pulsars) showing the location of our star relative to 14 pulsars. Think of the pulsars as GPS sats or Loran-C stations.

How cool is that?

oh... I was looking for this one: I couldn't find it.. I didn't see your last line about shooting stars until now. :POhh, this brings back memories of using the Internet back at the public library before I got Internet at home in 1996. Great pic.
