I have Ubuntu 9.1 (Karmic) and the system its on has a AMD Athalon 64 X2 Dual Core 3600+ @ 1.9GHz and 1 GB of ram. Im stuck with dialup where I live so I need to install the network-admin package to set up the connection. I downloaded the package for Karmic (and the others just to be safe), but when I try to install it, I get an error message "Error: Wrong (or Invalid I cant recall) Architecture 'amd64' ". What is causing this and what do I need to make dialup work?

Ya know when I was a kid I was a huge fan of the DC comics, but you sir, are my new hero. Thanks for the info link, it had exactly what I needed. I'm now a 100% Ubuntu convert, screw MS. ;]
