I would like to set up my Gnome desktop so that when I click an application, it opens it a predefined workspace, whether I am already in that workspace or not. For example, I always want my mail program to open in workspace 1, web browser in workspace 2, and so on. Seems it should be an easy thing, but I cannot find out how to do it.
