Hi everyone,
While I have installed sun-java6-bin, I have been asked to also install sun-java5-bin for compatibility reasons with older Java applications -- or so I have been told. There are so many applications, that I am not in a position to run each one and see if works.
Is there a way to find the java5 packages as PPAs or from another source? Specifically:
ia32-sun-java5-bin
sun-java5-bin
The other questions, assuming a package for java5 existed. Would it co-exist with java6?
This is for Ubuntu 9.10.
