Internal vs External Harddrive?

I have a second hard drive bay in my laptop. Is it worth it buying a new harddrive caddy and installing a new hard drive, or should i just use external usb case for my old ps3 harddrive?

It depends on what you want to use it for. If it's for backups, then it's probably best external (so if your laptop is stolen/damaged the backup will be intact), but if it's going to be used for storing stuff it would probably be best inside the laptop, especially if you intend to install an operating system on it. You should bear in mind, though, that another hard drive inside your laptop will likely have a detrimental effect on battery life.

oh i don't care about battery life i use my netbook if i need good battery life. haven't decided what to do with it yet. i'm just replacing the harddrive in my ps3 so ill have a spare
