Hello all. I've just upgraded (fresh install) to Karmic. I am having trouble getting the sound to work (i.e. make sound; I have two cards that seem to be installed correctly). The GUI has changed so I don't know how to test which audio card is working like in the GUI on 8.04 (right click on the sound icon -->properties).
Secondly, I cannot get compiz to work with Xinerama (dual displays on nVidia 9600GT). I can, however, get it to work without Xinerama but then I cannot drag application windows from one monitor to the other. If anyone knows of any good how-to's or thread's please redirect me :D.
