I just put the Ubuntu 9.10, and burned all the files to my disk using PowerISO, then I restart my computer, and when the disk boots, I set the language, then I hit the "Install Ubuntu", I wait about a minute or two, with it doing nothing, just sitting there, and all of the sudden I get an error "I/O - Error - Could not boot from disk" or something close to that, why is this?

Did you MD5SUM (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM) the iso prior to burning as an image to CD? The hashes must be a perfect match or the iso is not good.

Did you burn the iso as an image at no more than 8x speed? Higher speeds are ok for data, music , etc., but not so good for a bootable image. If one bit of data is bad the image will not work properly.
