clone drive

i want to clone old hard drive to new hard drive both are seagate 300 gig
ata drives i am using the seagate disk wizard cd with acronis clone utility
i have 2 partitions vista first and ubuntu second

any thoughts why it wont clone tried for 2 days
keeps saying not enough room

went to acronis web site and it said it was compatible with linux

Get a CD, and create a backup, then use the CD on the other hard drive and it should work.

Try Clonezilla it is the best clone tool I have every used. Google it and download the iso.
