Hi I am using Thinkpad which comes with a fingerprint reader. It works fine with windows 7. I wonder it will also work in Ubuntu. Can any one guide me how to configure and use it.

do lsusb in terminal and look for a fingerprint reader in the output. If there is not one use the lspci command.
