Im brand new to linux, I have been fooling around with the live CD lately and decided to install it, onto an external hard drive. I did so, and It used to work on every computer I had it on but the internet wasnt working on one computer, and I found I might need to update so I did... from my main computer, all like 259 updates, next thing I know I get a list of
"ubuntu, linux 2,6,31-20 - generic, memory test windows 7 loader, vista loader"
and It only seems to work with the computer I installed the updates on, (only tested it on 1 other) but I want to be able to bring this to any computer like i was earlier.
whats my solution? oh and please do try to be descriptive and simple... many forums I read I hardly understand from different terminology to just.. well me never using this before.
