View Full Version : problem compiling boost libraries 1.42

hello everybody ...

i rele need help with this!!

i am doing bachelors in avionics engineering

i have to compile the boost libraries for a project for a design of a generic flight simulator...

i am using windows xp

i have little know how of compiling using cygwin ..


plz help!!

i give the commands under the directory of boost in cygwin .. i.e


./bootstrap.sh

and then

./bjam

it does compile or maybe does not , but it takes time and surely does something... but when i view the folder: "" cygwin\usr\local\libs "" there is nothing inside it...

i need ur help guys !!! its rele important for me to compile this , else my project wud halt...

Looks like the problem was solved here:

i just copy pasted it to the cygwin usr/local folder and it did the trick !!!!
