Hello

Most people don't even know what Ubuntu (and Linux in general) is. We should promote it. Of course we are doing it by telling friends about it, installing and supporting Ubuntu. But what can we do more?

My latest idea:
Ubuntu jigsaw puzzles (http://www.epuzzle.info/ubuntu-linux)

What do you think about it? Is it good way to educate people?

I have also version in Polish language at most popular jigsaw puzzle site in Poland.

I may be a simple southern man but I just gave a live cd to a guy at work complaining about viruses eating up his laptop........

hmm tux has done well, everyone likes him, specially kids

tux = linux and then they discover ubuntu

games and education is the way to go

i was trying your puzzle but got a little overwhelmed by so many pieces

would be good to start with something simpler, that gets little harder after each stage

photos of the actual desktop(s) with and without common programs would be cool too.

Yes it's hard, but most of everyday players loves hard puzzles. And it's takes more time - more time with Ubuntu :-)

I was thinking of making a huge banner and hanging it behind me when I dj out at certain shows of the logo. But I got to get my software working first with my equipment. I just started working on getting it all together today. Ubuntu much like music is a platform for expression. I love it...
