Lucid incorrect adminstrative password

After upgrading today I need to enter my administrative password for 'Computer Janitor' or 'Adobe Air' installations.

This window seems to be new? When I enter my sudo password it doesn't seem to work. It says my password is incorrect. When I sudo from shell it works fine.

I've attached the window.

I have the same dialog window but in my case it works fine...

however, could you plese try to issue

1. gtksudo gedit (or kate)
and
2. kdesudo gedit (or kate)

and tell us what happens?

I've attached the screenshot. This one works when I fill my password. It just opens gedit.
