Hello,

I am relatively new to ubuntu.
I am a open-source enthusiast. i also work with couple of open-source software's related to graphics as am a graphic designer.

Its just recently I got Ubuntu 9.04 installed on my PC along with Win7 as duel boot.
I am seeking to completely change my work flow towards open-source in some time.

Well, my PC has Core2 Quad processor, 4gb RAM, Nvidia 9400GT accelerator card and i use Samsung SyncMaster 2233sw monitor.

Ubuntu didn't take the video card in the first go. So i went through couple of forums to figure out how to.
I followed the instructions and tried to install the 9400gt supportive driver. Which completed successfully. Upon restart, it started to show a window that its not in optimum mode of display and the screen went blank.

Yet the Win7 side it works fine.

I am really eager, if somebody can help me fix this problem for ubuntu.

Much Thanks in advance
