View Full Version : [wubi] I want to access my XP files (dual boot XP/Wubi)

DL'd Wubi, and am on it now. I would like to know how to access all my files that are saved in XP. I need really clear directions, because although I can pick up stuff fast, I don't know Linux terminology, and my Windows vocabulary is limited as well. I've googled this, and I can't find anything that I understand. I don't want to think that this is a case of PEBCAC; after all, I did figure out how to get Wubi. . .

On the standard Gnome desktop go to Places > Computer > Filesystem > Host.

Hey guys, thanks. Just figured I should add how it works for me since I figured it out. I have my Windows files on the D partition of my HD, and I access them at Places > 93 GB Filesystem. Since I get the BSOD when I try to get on Windows, I have to go that way
