kony,

Welcome to Ubuntu and the Ubuntu forums.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with your Wubi install (Ubuntu inside Windows).

There is a bug that effects some users of Wubi. There are instructions in the following link that instruct you to download and install a file from inside Windows.

Try that and let us know if that fixes things for you.

kony,

Congratulations.

One thing that aids forum users is to mark a thread "Solved" once the issue has been resolved. Marking it 'Solved' allows the helpers to concentrate on threads which still need answers, and also assists those with problems find threads which have working solutions posted.

You can mark your threads solved via the 'Thread Tools' link at the top right of the first post. You can also remove 'Solved' from the same link if that becomes necessary.

I hope you enjoy Ubuntu.

kony,

It would be best to either search these forums or open a new thread, as many helpers will look at the title to see if they can help. And your new problem is not related to Grub...

When you start a new post, please try to describe the problem more specifically. Is it flash that is not working (can't see videos such as YouTube), a java problem (can't run java pages), or any page at all, if you know.

Providing examples of pages that won't work will also help.

Here are the pages I use to test my browser:
Flash:
Any YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/
Adobe Flash Tester: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html

Java:
http://www.javatester.org/version.html

Provide the answers to these questions in a new thread and use a descriptive title, especially if you can narrow down what isn't working.

I'll watch for your new post. Good luck.
