Hi everyone. I decided to put Lucid beta on my laptop emachines G725, and it works just fine. The only thing bothering me is, that after certain amount of boots (I think it is 30) the disk check automatically starts, but unfortunately it never manages to finish the job, it freezes sometimes at 60%, sometimes at 80% (this appears random) and doesn't move on. I left it for about an hour to see if it maybe needs more time, but no luck, the laptop hangs, and the only way to make it boot normally is to force the shutdown with the power button. When it hangs, even the keyboard seems frozen, so I can not open another konsole by hitting Alt+Ctrl+F1 for instance. I do install all updates available when prompted, but still this freezing persists. Before lucid I had Karmic on my laptop and I didn't have problems there with disk check, so I wonder if anyone has similar experience with this, or how could I trouble shoot this issue. Thanks for any help you can provide.
