What is a program that burns images lower then 8X?

I burned 2 cds using K3b and the speed was 8X, I think that is the minimum, but it didn't work so I Want to go a speed lower, what is a software that has this? And also, what is the lowest speed I should go? Thanks.

I use Brasero and I think (I didn´t use it soon) that lower speed is 4x.
