I am absolutely new to Linux. I just installed Ubuntu 9.10 on a HP Compaq desktop that has two CD/DVD drives - one is a Creative CD/DVD-ROM drive and the other is a TSS CD/DVD burner drive. When I insert a music CD or a blank CD in the Creative drive, nothing happens. When I insert the same CD in the TSS drive, the CD is detected. How do I get Ubuntu to detect both my CD drives? Also, I do not see any CD drive under Places until a CD is inserted into the TSS drive. Is that normal?
