My Windows machine finally keeled over and the challenge at hand is that on that machine I have mirrored boot partition (250GB) and a 4 disks in a Stripe Volume (4Tb). The stripe was created in *******

I've been looking around to see if I can mount my Windows Striped Volume (created under "Disk Management" - a Windows "dynamic disk striped volume not BIOS 'fakeraid') in Ubuntu.

Is there a way to mount the Windows striped volume in Ubuntu without having to format it? Or do I have to reinstall Windows, backup the striped volume completely, and then recreate the striped array with my BIOS util- wiping out the existing data- then subsequently configure it in Ubuntu with dmraid?
