Removing all installed themes

Hello Everyone,

A couple of month back i installed a theme called- elementary Project (http://www.elementary-project.com) theme.

I now what to remove it and go back to the standard Ubuntu Dust theme yet when i try to change it in the Appearance menu all the themes installed look like the elementary project

I tried to remove all of the aspects of the themes in the repository:



elementary-theme - the elementary GTK theme
elementary-icon-theme - elementary Icon theme


After resetting the machine everything is the same. Dose anyone know what i can do to remove this theme... (getting really stressed with this theme ;))

Not sure where you installed it, but look in /home/(user-name)/.themes
If it is there simply delete it.

yup i removed it from there and also tried to remove it from everywhere the
locate command showed me it's remaining parts.

I removed everything but still when i try to change theme under the appearance menu i cant change the look. When i change the theme it changes the icons but not the skin on nautilus and the navigation bars :(

Also as an FYI i followed these instructions on how to reset gnome without re-installing LINK (http://linuxfud.wordpress.com/2007/02/14/how-to-reset-ubuntugnome-settings-to-defaults-without-re-installing/)

Sadly it didnt work. It reset many things but didnt help me with my problem.
