I have two 500GB drives configured as a RAID-1 array on an AMD SB710 chipset. Ubuntu recognizes the array and is able to partition it, but the installer fails during GRUB installation. Here is the syslog from the installation attempt. (http://red5.gotdns.org/syslog.txt)
This is with 9.10 amd64 on CD image. I also tried lilo at the end, which failed as well.
