Most internet traffic is spam. Nearly all of the web is spam. And as this is a web forum, that means most of this site is spam.

I'd complain, but I'm as guilty of spamming as everyone else. Nearly all my posts are spam. Including this one.

How much spam *is* there
Around 400 standard pages (25 threads per page) a month. All removed by hand, the automatic process was lost with other plugins when we had databases issues (sigh). Thanks much to you guys who spot and report most of it :)

I got an infraction once. I earned it. Someone joined the forums and asked for ways to illegally download Hannah Montana movies and I told them something rude about Hannah Montana. I see my wrongness there, so I will not bait spammers again. Its not good manners even if they are a spammer or bot.
